Diagnostics Since every pet is different, diagnostic screenings help establish a baseline for your pet. At Red Oak Animal Hospital we are proud to offer in-house blood work with our innovative laboratory, radiology, and ultrasound imaging.

  • Radiology: High quality radiographs aid in the diagnosis of a variety of soft tissue and orthopedic diseases.
  • Ultrasound: State of the art ultrasound equipment is available to aid in soft tissue diagnosis.
  • In-house laboratory: We are equipped to run a majority of blood tests with rapid and accurate diagnosis- CBC (Complete Blood Count)/ Chemistry Profile/ Thryoid testing/ Urinalysis/ 4Dx (Heartworm and Tick Borne Testing)/ Feline Triple Test (FIV, FeLV, Heartworm)- Provided by Idexx

  • In-House Laboratory: Our advanced laboratory capabilities enable us to perform a wide range of blood tests, including complete blood counts (CBC), chemistry profiles, thyroid testing, urinalysis, and heartworm and tick-borne disease testing (4Dx). We also offer feline triple testing for FIV, FeLV, and heartworm. This allows for rapid diagnosis and immediate treatment plans.
  • Digital Radiology: Our high-quality digital X-ray equipment provides clear images of bones, organs, and other internal structures, aiding in the diagnosis of orthopedic injuries, bone diseases, respiratory issues, and more.
  • Ultrasound Imaging: Our ultrasound technology offers detailed images of internal organs, allowing for the early detection of conditions such as liver disease, kidney disease, heart disease, and pregnancy.
